I bought a used Greddy turbo kit  Jan 2000.

The install was simple and made a big difference in the car. I added a intercooler 2 weeks later. I then added a Bipes timing control. As I increased the boost I realized I needed more fuel. I fabbed a 5th injector that allowed me to run 10psi. The car ran well except for the 'lean tip in'. I happened across a used Link Programmable and replaced the AFPR, Bipes, 5th injector. I also replaced the Eclipse NA injectors with Eclipse 450cc turbo injectors.

The top end power was about the same , but the bottom end power was much stronger and the lean tip in was gone.  Plus your have much more control over the timing. This is especially important in the lower revs.

Injector upgrade - 6~7psi

I upgraded the stock injectors to the ones found in an Eclipse G1 ('90-93) NA auto. They are 235cc vs the stock 205cc. You can often find them in junk yards fro $40/set.

Try to get the injector connectors. The stock Miata's connector is kinda oval. You want the ones that are square. If you can't get the Eclipse's, the ones found on most '80-90 GM will also work.

These are examples of different injectors. [The Eclipse NA auto is not shown]

Manifold Cuts

It is highly recommended that you cut the Greddy manifold before installation. I suggest that you use either a sawsall or sabersaw. You will need to get 'bi-metal' blades. $2-3. Get an extra. Keep the blade well lubricated with WD40.

Here is a pic of the cuts highlighted in yellow and what happens to the manifold if you don't make the cuts.

Here are the adjustments for the Greddy WG

DSM G1 BOV (blow off valve)

You can use a Eclipse BOV for my IC kit elbow, but you will need to either vent it back in to the intake (after the MAF) or use an Link or similar after market ECU.

1.shows the BOV and the pipe from the 90-93 Eclipse

2. shows them separated

3. cut the pipe off the flange. air chisel works great here

4. use a 1" threaded pipe and thread into the flange. Use JB weld to make sure you don't have leaks. Fits my elbow perfectly.
