15psi...Miata performance
Greddy Install
The install is not difficult. Here are
the major aspects. Installs can be completed under 5 hours, but for most 1st
timers, figure 9hours +/-, depending on you prep and tools.
Things to get 1 week prior:
Switch to synthetic oil – Mobil 10-30 or 20-50
Switch to premium gas
Get SS bolts
Get PB Blaster at auto parts store
Get boost gage
Get Bipes timing controller
optional- Intercooler
optional- Blow off Valve (BOV)
optional- A/F meter (air/fuel)
Swap day prep
Put car on jacks or ramps, let engine cool
Spray PB Blaster on down pipe & manifold bolts
Cut the slits in the manifold
Parts removal
Remove the intake system
Remove the down pipe and manifold
Remove oil line return bolt
Locate and remove the oil return line plug
Install
Manifold
Oil return hose (get this out of the way)
Oil feed line
Turbo, down pipe
Attach the oil lines
Connect the intake parts
Swap fuel lines to AFPR

Here
are the manifold cuts that I recommend. Use a bi-metal blade with either a hack
saw, saber saw or sawsall. Use plenty of oil.
This
manifold has ~20k but no cuts. It cracked on the bottom and the crack continued
to the turbo mounting on the top. Surprisingly there was no loud exhaust leak.
These pics are from my current manifold with over 35k &
4+ yrs old. 10-15psi
and some flogging.
